hi there everyone,
We're a small family that would like to find a small cute town somewhere to stay for 3 months (more or less) and learn spanish and learn to windsurf better. We're beginner windsurfers, so would like a place that has a bay or protected area. For learning spanish, would like to hire locals for private instruction and just get out and practice.
I was thinking Los Barriles MX as one. Tulum MX? Anywhere else?
Thanks so much! |

La Ventana, MX is probably cheaper and better for what you want than Los Barilles, but the season for both is nearly over (Nov - Mar).
Cabarete, DR is a good choice, and you don't need a wetsuit.
South Padre and Corpus Christi, TX are great for beginner sailing, inexpensive, safe, and you can learn Spanish, because there's lots of Spanish spoken everywhere down there. _________________ Kansas City |
