McNett sell a decent wetsuit shampoo. Some people use a dish detergent like Dawn.

I especially like McNett's Mirazyme enzyme-based deodorizer to keep booties from smelling bad, and I use it occasionally on my wetsuits. I use it after first washing in wetsuit shampoo.

Both are available in scuba diving shops or online (e.g. Murray's). Surf shops might also carry one or another of these, but how many surfers bother to wash anything?

I wash my wetsuit in the shower with me after the session and use some of my regular shampoo. I figure if they test this shampoo on the eyes of some poor monkey and it doesn't go blind, it can't be that bad for the wetsuit.

To wash, I use shampoo. I think I will try McNett specific westuit specific shampoo since McNett Myrazime works great to get rid of odours. I use Myrazime one in a while.

thanks, I guess I am more interested in a product that conditions the rubber. Obviously smell reduction is a factor as well.

I buy McNetts by the gallon jug from NRS at

and throw my neoprene gear into the front-loader washing machine after each day of use.
