Found lots of days of wind between Louiza/Piniones to Luquillo on the NE shores of PR, like 6 out of 7 days with mostly 2' waves.
Always thought L/P showed potential, but it"s a lonely stretch of northshore beaches.
We gotta find the right beach in Cieba, but it's a maze of unmarked curving roads. |

Manuel, are you in DR now?
We just arrived in PuertoRico, Fajardo, NE corner of the island.
Swell 3-4, ENE at 8-15, up and down with rainclouds.
Hoping to windsurf [12-25mph] or SUP foil [10-17mph] breezes.
Tiny guys wing foiling today at Luquillo, but we are heavier. |

Naturally......
Brought wings out to play, morning 10-15 drops to 1-7 by mid day, and stays there the whole afternoon.
Surf comes up to 4-6, killing that option. |

Bit of wind last Wed-thur, otherwise mostly sub 10 max.
Seems a 5.2 wing is pretty good in 15-20, but really bad in sub 10.
No wind till Wed, so looking for small waves. |

Heading to PR for spring break this weekend. The forecast does not look very promising but I hope to get in a few days sailing. The last time I went to PR I sailed every day with a 5.5 or smaller (190 lbs), and with head high or better waves, so a repeat would have been nice. |

We surf or SUP on light breeze days.
Windfoil is also an option, but didn't bring that gear.
Learn to wing on SUP, but you need MINIMUM 10 or it's a waste of time.
Where are you staying?
We're in the NE shore and sometimes San Juan. |
